Disposal

  • All expired or excess controlled substances must be disposed of through a reverse distributor.
  • Heritage Environmental Services which provides hazardous waste disposal services for Northwestern University is a licensed reverse distributor.
  • To dispose of controlled substances, contact researchsafety@northwestern.edu to be put in touch with a Heritage representative.
